The Camp at Cornell University FAQ'sArcher Coaching Camps are prospect clinics for high school athletes 16 +. All Camps will be filled on a first come first served basis. All information below is subject to change at any time.
What is the camp schedule? Each camp will follow the same schedule. Registration will begin @ 12:00PM 12:00PM: Check in, Speed Skill Instruction and Measurements *Specialists will practice during this time so if you are a Kicker, Punter or Snapper please arrive to registration right at 12:00PM 1:20PM: Gatorade Break + Camp Introductions 1:30PM: Offense Skill Instruction 2:00PM: Gatorade break 2:05PM: Defense Skill Instruction 2:35PM: Gatorade Break 2:55PM: Position Instruction 3:10PM: 1 on 1 Drill 3:30PM: Gatorade Break 3:35PM: 1 on 1 Drill 3:55PM: Camp All Up / Final Message 4:00PM: Camp Concluded Is this a residential program? No. Players will need to utilize local hotel options for their accommodations. Archer Coaching Camp is not responsible for accommodation, transport to and from the field, or meals. What should I bring? Cleats, sneakers, mouthpiece, water, sunscreen, lunch snacks. NO HELMET OR SHOULDER PADS. How are players organized? Players will be given a number at check in which they should wear throughout the Camp. Players will be put through individual position drills, group competitive work, and linear & lateral speed skill instruction. Can specialists register for camp? Yes, the specialists will practice during the 12:00PM-1:20PM time so it is important to arrive as registration opens at 12:00PM What is the registration process? Players must register by clicking on the register now tab above and selecting the camp they want to attend. Registration is not complete until paid in full and forms/waiver have been completed and submitted. Refunds? All cancelations must be for good reason to be eligible for the applicable refund. All cancellations 15 days prior will receive a full refund minus a $25 administration fee. All cancellations 14 days or less prior to camp will not receive a refund unless the $25 insurance policy is purchased. Waitlist? All Camps will have a waitlist once camp reaches capacity. Location for 2023 Summer Camps? All camps will be hosted at Schoellkopf Field on Cornell’s campus. How do I get to Cornell University? Shoellkopf Field Address: 521 Campus Road, Ithaca, NY 14853 Nearby airports: Ithaca Airport (ITH)~ 5 miles to campus. Syracuse Airport (SYR) ~ 60 miles from campus. Elmira Airport (ELM) ~ 37 miles to campus. Binghamton Airport (BIG) ~ 40 miles to campus. Fredrick Douglas, Greater Rochester Airport (ROC) 97~ miles to campus. Where do I Park? Parking is free on the weekends. The best place to park is in the crescent lot (directly behind the football stadium: Schoellkopf Field – this is also where registration will occur). The next best location is the parking garage which is located in between Schoellkopf Field and the Baseball Field. |
